GreenHeart currently requires a Property / Construction / Maintenance Manager to live and work on the GreenHeart property in the village of Bon Siphoun, three hours north of Luang Prabang, Laos.

Job Duties:
- Provide on-site daily management of the GreenHeart property.
- In partnership with GreenHeart Foundation staff or coordinators / prioritize property management / maintenance / construction activities to be performed.

- Establish budget requirements for these activities with local staff team members
- relationships with local workers and providers of local building materials.
- Contract with local workers to perform prioritized activities.
- Oversee workers and ensure that work is of sufficient quality. Where needed, provide training to local workers on techniques to improve quality, increase timeliness, etc.

Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in building, remodeling, overseeing workers, property management.
- Strong commitment to continuing the traditional look and feel of the village by using locally available materials and labor.
- Strong commitment to overseeing construction and maintenance activities in an eco-friendly and socially conscious manner.
- experience with natural materials, Bamboo, Clay, Wood...
- Prior experience working in developing countries is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal English. Willingness to learn Lao Language

Conditions:
- You will be living at the GreenHeart Land or Staff house (3 hours from Luang Prabang).
- Working hours - 6-8 hours daily Monday through Friday (starting and ending times are flexible, depending on the maintenance / construction activities needed.) flexible hours, early morning starts, depending on climate conditions depending on seasonal weather...
- Accommodation and one daily meal will be provided after successful completion of two-week probationary period (meals provided Monday - Friday only).
- Individuals will be financially responsible for travel to and from their home to Luang Prabang, including initial one-month tourist visa.
- GreenHeart will facilitate a long-term visa at the individual’s financial expense.
