Description:
Hola dear Amigos
Cascade Verde is a holistic retreat, seminar- and guest house surrounded by Permaculture inspired gardens and tropical fruit orchards, offering a natural setting for relaxation, healing, cleansing, and learning in tranquil and inspiring nature.
We are located on the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in the foothills just abouth of the beach town Uvita de Osa, on the Costa Ballena, only 2 minutes from nice refreshing waterfalls and river pools. Our gardens are surrounded by rugged mountains of virgin old growth forest that rise above the lonely coconut fringed beaches below. Several crystalline creeks and rivers carve through the mountains creating an abundance of mystical waterfalls, translucent swimming pools, and healing spring water. Diverse species of native plants and wildlife abound. Tropical birds are especially abundant. Biting insects are fortunately nearly non-existent.
We are a not-for-profit organization promoting sustainable solutions and a simple symbiotic life style. We have no commercial production, no sale or income other than donations.
Cascade Verde is open to volunteers that are wholeheartedly committing to this project and the purely natural style of life that exists here in the wild jungle of Costa Rica. We are seeking self motivated workers that are flexible, dependable, and efficient. Experience is not necessary, but very helpful. What is necessary is a desire to learn and work hard, a sense of curiosity and an ability to observe.
Work includes all kinds of gardening tasks, attending guests, house maintenance, construction of new buildings, office jobs and more.
Feel welcome to contribute any of your special talents and skills that could be of benefit to the evolution of our project [bring your own special equipment].
Due to our tropical humid and hot climate volunteers work at their own pace and accept financial contributions instead of full practical participation.
We ask for only 4 hours of focused work, 5 days a week, but feel free to help more.
We prefer a minimum stay of 2 weeks, but if you come for true learning a moon cycle or much more is better.
However, experienced people with limited time are welcome too.
In exchange for your services, we offer accommodation in the communal house, vegan meals with lots of raw food, use of ocean-view yoga/meditation deck and other facilities.
For the first moon cycle (4 weeks)
we ask you a minimum donation (cost participation] of $70/week. This is for running the volunteer house, the communal meals, tools and seeds for the gardens, communal and educational projects.
You will be able to learn and experience Permaculture, renewable energy, sustainable living, medicinal plants, natural diet, natural healing methods, yoga, meditation and symbiotic living.
Since we are a health and healing retreat we are looking for calm and conscious, heart- centered people who prefer to live in paradise without to many dependencies, chemical substances, noise, pollution, intoxicants etc.
we invite you whole heartedly to a conscious exploration.
looking forward to working with you for a more happy and healthy planet.
sending you much love and wishing for the most beautiful manifestations
