Description:

Citizens Offering Police Support (C.O.P.S.) is open to anyone with a willingness to get involved and the desire to make a difference in their community. As a C.O.P.S. volunteer, you will become involved with behind the scene efforts of law enforcement. You will enjoy the camaraderie, the sense of belonging and the feeling of pride that comes with being a part of something worthwhile.

700 Squaw Peak Precinct

A pilot program is starting for this precinct. Teams of two volunteers will work with the equipment coordinator for the precinct and assist in maintainingthe fleet of cars. Duties will include washing the cars, checking oil and fluids, and prepping the cars for patrol officers. Shifts will be a minimum of four hours per week. Volunteers will have significant interaction with patrol officers. The precinct is located on 24th St. north of Camelback Rd.
