Description:
There are many ways to become involved with Urban Sprouts. The following opportunities offer a flexible schedule and the time commitment with vary with each selection.
Garden Construction Projects: assist in building new beds, garden structures, and other large projects
Web/Graphic Design: create educational materials, fliers, brochures, and assist with our social networking sites and blog
Digital Storytelling: this year we will be capturing stories and interviews with our students and their families. Assistance is needed within all aspects of this process.
Chicken Care: our chickens are super sweet and love when people bring them tasty treats from the garden, extra help is needed with weekend and holiday care.
Outreach: help us get the word out, attend resource fairs, community events, and school gatherings.
Weekend Work Days: we have weekend work days throughout the year to keep our garden classrooms in the best possible shape. The work days are usually on Saturdays from 10am-1pm and they happen at each site a few times a year.
