Description:
The Rhode Island Environmental Education Association (RIEEA) believes that Rhode Island’s future depends on its citizens being environmentally literate, and able to make informed choices about environmental issues. We represent a wide spectrum of environmental educators, from non-profit organizations to parents, from schools and universities to public agencies, from educational consultants to learning centers and collaboratives.
As part of the Mozilla Service Week, RIEEA is looking for volunteer assistance to help us set up a new website using the joomla.com content management system. We have a current site (www.rieea.org) that has been created using dreamweaver, but we would like to transfer the content over with the help of joomla and a web design volunteer. This will include a new format, pictures, and other copy.
This opportunity would help us to set up the new site and design an attractive, user-friendly RIEEA website. We welcome volunteers who are computer savvy and have experience in web design-- we have an outline and other details for what we would like to see, but need someone with the expertise to make it a reality!
