Description:

Whole Kids Adventure will soon be opening a new organic/green school in Austin, TX and we are looking for a web-wizard to serve as e-Communications Manager. Please find more information about us at www.wholekidsadventure.org.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

•Create and implement optimization strategies to expand WKA\E-communications
•Manage an evolving database of email addresses to support strategic initiatives
•Establish E-communication outreach to align with Programming and PR strategies
•Develop external partnerships to boost E-communication subscriptions and WKA online visibility in social media and blogosphere, working in conjunction with Executive Director and IT Support
•Develop compelling multipurpose online content that represents library initiatives and collections
•Tag and title content to impact search traffic and rankings in support of protocols set by Social Marketing team and others
•Create monthly E-communication status reports
•Work closely with Creative Director and WKA Team, as well as relevant staff
•Performs related duties as required

How to Apply:

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of one-two years experience working in a Web operations role in a non-profit environment.
• Bachelor’s degree; commitment to continuing education in the Web profession.
• Strong background working with Web publishing platforms and Web content-management systems.
• Experience with one or more of the following — hosted ad serving, content-distribution networks/ media serving, online content syndication.
