The Näng Fäh Project’s mission is to reduce the number of young women affected by human trafficking and sexual exploitation, a growing global concern due to an increase in violent conflicts, poverty, natural disaster and use of children on the internet. The Näng Fäh Project is building sustainable, self-supporting centers for rescued young girls of Southeast Asia and the Hill Tribe Communities in Thailand who have been abducted or forced into the sex trade industry for lack of work to support their families.
The Nang Fah Project, seeks an experienced and organized grant writer.
This is a great opportunity for an organized and self-motivated individual, with superior writing and editing skills, and attention to detail. This position will report to The Board of Directors
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Writing letters of inquiry, grant proposals, progress reports, acknowledgement letters, and other correspondence to prospective foundations, corporations, and government agencies
Collaborating with program staff to create compelling and accurate grant proposals
Gathering and preparing all ancillary materials to accompany grants (financial data, bios, required forms, etc.)
Working with program and finance staff on budget preparation
Maintaining annual grant calendar
Maintaining computer and hard files
Conducting targeted research on foundation, corporate and government funding opportunities
Nang Fah Project Programs include:
Nang Fah Project School in Chiang Mai: Our center, located in Chiang Mai, provides girls with safe and clean room & board if desired, counseling, medical treatment, education, vocational training in the production of eco-friendly fashion products, family stipends and, eventually, micro loans to families to begin their own businesses.
Nang Fah Project Label: A paid program for individuals graduating from the Nang Fah Project program to design and manufacture an accessories and fashion collection reflecting the tribal cultures of Southeast Asia that will self support the Nang Fah Project Schools in the future.
Education: Sexual trafficking education for the public.
Exhibitions: Artwork to further the mission of Nang Fah Project and a resident artist program to teach a course to the enrolled students in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Library, Sewing Room and Internet Cafe: Built into the school in Chiang Mai, includes a sewing room with sewing machines and drafting equipment, a study hall with textbooks, and art books, and an internet cafe filled with computers for the students enrolled into the Nang Fah Project programs.
Micro Loans: Initial capita granted for successful graduates to start their own self sustaining businesses.

Qualifications:
MS Word and Excel a must. Successful candidate should have a minimum of a BA or at least 3-4 years successful grant writing and fundraising experience.
