Description:
The Global Citizen Water Initiative (Citizen Water) seeks to bring safe drinking water to under-served communities through appropriate technology and increased information access and water quality mapping. Our unique blend of community empowerment and global information exchange has the potential to enable people—regardless of location, economic class or scientific training—to participate in improving drinking water quality in their communities.
Citizen Water has three components: testing, mapping, and treatment. We are seeking someone to work on the front-end web design of our mapping component. The back-end functionality for the website has already been implemented, and now we need a graphic user interface (GUI) design that is accessible (by various types and backgrounds of users, and connection speeds) as well as broadly appealing.
