Description:
Overview of Position:
iLoveSchools.com seeks a volunteer web tutorial wizard to create 3 series of 3-5 minute instructional videos that magically transform the public into savvy, enthusiastic users of www.iLoveSchools.com.
Essential Functions:
• Create 3 different series of web tutorials based on teacher, donor and district needs
• Identify and the proper software and tools that fit the needs of this project
• Collaborate with the organization’s Web development team on the editing and posting processes
• Familiarize yourself with iLoveSchools.com and its services
Marginal Abilities:
• Update web tutorials periodically (depending on commitment level of volunteer).
Time Required:
Due on: April 30, 2010 (or before). Schedule and weekly hours are negotiable.
Age Requirements:
20-yrs. +
Skills/Qualifications/Education:
• Working and current knowledge of web tutorial tools and software
• Knowledge and understanding of web tutorial best practices
• Working toward or possessing a degree in the area of communications or IT—or maintain the equivalent in experience
Experience:
Please provide examples or a link to your portfolio of work
Purpose of Project:
• Improve user experience on the Web site
• Increase WishList submittal
• Increase donations
• Increase community involvement in classrooms nationwide
Benefits to Volunteer:
