Description:
FXB, an international nonprofit organization with 20 years of experience providing sustainable solutions for children affected by poverty and AIDS in communities around the world, is currently recruiting Young Professionals (age 23-40) to join and help launch the FXB Action Network in New York City.
Members of the Action Network will support FXB’s work in Africa, Asia and Latin America through initiatives aimed at raising awareness and increasing donations.
The key responsibilities of the Action Network will be to help plan social and fundraising events for young professionals, to expand FXB’s community outreach and corporate partnership opportunities and to support marketing campaigns to raise awareness and support from other young people in the US.
Qualities we look for in a member of the FXB Action Network:
*A personal or professional interest in fundraising, event planning, nonprofit/charity administration, marketing and/or community outreach
*Leadership skills and the ability to take initiative and work on a team
* A willingness to utilize networks and connections to help promote the Action Network’s presence and events in New York City
*A commitment to helping families and vulnerable children affected by poverty and AIDS
In return, members of the FXB Action Network will benefit from:
*The opportunity to help orchestrate the launch a new program aimed at Young Professionals in the New York City area
*Marketing and fundraising experience with an international nonprofit
*The opportunity to learn new skills, plan events and expand their social and professional network

We currently have openings for positions on the Action Network leadership team and are looking for individuals with new ideas and an enthusiasm for making a difference. The leadership team will meet once a month in the evening to plan initiatives.
