Dear Hill House Coaches and Volunteers,

Welcome to the 2010 Little League Baseball Season!! We are excited so to be planning another great season for all of those involved. As always, our programs would not be possible without the help of you, our dedicated coaches and volunteers. Thank you!!

All new and returning coaches must fill out the application which can be found here

Here are the dates for coaches meetings and clinics: (All coaches must attend one of the pre-season meetings).
Pre-Season Coaches Mandatory Meeting – Wednesday, March 31st or Thursday, April 1st at 127 Mount Vernon St, Boston from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Coaches must attend one of the meetings.

Pre-season clinic - April 8th and April 12th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
New this year will be running coaches clinics through-out the season on the following dates:
Tuesday, April 27th from 6:00 to 7:00 at TERSF
Tuesday, May 18th from 6:00 to 7:00 at TERSF
Tuesday, June 8th from 6:00 to 9:00 at TERSF followed by pizza party at Hill House

Here are the details for 2010 Season:
5 year old T- Ball
Practices are on Tuesday nights from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The first practice is on Tuesday, April 13th. Practice takes place at the Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields.

Games are at 8:30 am. The first game of the season is on Saturday, April 17th. All games takes place at the Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields.
In this age group players will expand on their born to play baseball skills, while developing game situation experience. Fun remains the focus with players hitting off a tee. All players will be assigned to a team and receive a uniform!

6 – 7 Year Old – AA baseball
Practices are on Wednesday nights from 5:15 to 6:30 pm. The first practice is on Tuesday, April 13th. Practice takes place at the Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields.

The first game of the season is on Saturday, April 17th. The schedule will be available on April 1st. All games takes place at the Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields.

Players will put their developing skills a bit more to the test in this coached-pitched league. Working with volunteer coaches from the community and players from Northeastern University, they will develop leadership skills, confidence, and sportsmanship, and learn what it means to be part of a team. All practices and games will be at the Teddy Ebersol Red Sox Fields.

8 – 9 Year Old – AAA Baseball
Practices are on Thursday nights from 5:15 to 6:30 pm. The first practice is on Thursday, April 15th. Practice takes place at the Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields.

The first game of the season is on Saturday, April 17th. The schedule will be available on April 1st. All games takes place at the Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields.

In this player-pitched league, teams will continue to work with their volunteer coaches and professionals from Northeastern University to develop more advanced skills and to fully understand various positional roles including pitcher, catcher, infield and outfield. The goal of this league is for players to have fun and to learn the importance of all positions on the team, while simultaneously enjoying the opportunity to bat several times during each game!

10 – 12 Year Old – Majors
After 7 years of learning fundamentals and developing their skills, players will be in an ideal position to succeed in this energetic and dynamic league. The emphasis is on challenging themselves and having fun competing against friends for the championship. Teams will have at least one practice and two games each week.
