Description:
The Community Kitchen, a program of Urban Ministries of Durham, is a 22 year old soup kitchen in downtown Durham, NC. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, currently serving 350-400 plates per day. We welcome reliable volunteers who can help with food procurement, preparation, and service. Minimum time commitment: one hour per month. Minimum commitment: 3 to 6 months.
