We are looking for volunteers who are concerned about the issue of access to alternative medicine-especially for low-income and homeless populations. These volunteers should not be alternative medicine practitioners (see our Alternative Medicine Practitioner Opportunity). However, many of our current non-practitioner volunteers are alternative medicine students. Volunteers need not have prior experience in the medical field.

Responsibilities include meeting the alternative health practitioner at the site, finding patients, filling charts, basic filing, and other tasks that may be unique to the site. Some sites require assistance with blood pressure readings and foot soaks.

Commitment would be 6-8 hours a month (3-4 hours per week, twice a month). We can accommodate most schedules.
