Teach English in Namsom, a rural, small town in the mountains of Northeastern Thailand (Isan) close to the border of Laos.
We have several programs going in Namsom and normally five to eight volunteers working in the town. A western coordinator living in the town will introduce you to your teaching placement and help in any situation.
Working together in small groups, you have the option to teach English in a variety of programs:
*Teach evening and daytime classes
*Teach in the town library
*Teach for the municipal administration
*Teach in the English Summer Camps (we coordinate together with the schools)
*Teach Monks in a Buddhist Wat (monastery)
*Teach groups in our house
The volunteers live together in a beautiful house of very good standard and with lots of ambiance.
You can join us for a month or up to a year.
This is a chance to experience true Thai living and immerse yourself in Thai culture as well as helping Isan people discover the world around them.
Program costs are 550 € (about 780 US$) for four weeks.
