Is my listing posted in the right category?
Answer:
We have several categories where you can publicize your organization's available opportunities. Below are some general guidelines for deciding where your listing fits best:
• Jobs: staff positions that are monetarily compensated, by the hour or with a salary
• Volunteer Opportunities: when people donate their time and skills to a project, event, or organization
• Internships: a short-term structured, work-learning experience that can be paid, unpaid, or for academic credit
• Programs and Services: services or activities provided on a long-term or ongoing basis, such as courses, trainings, after-school programs, etc.
• Materials and Products: organized information, multi-media, or goods related to the work of a Group, available for use or purchase by others (i.e. books, pamphlets, articles, videos, DVDs, etc.)
• Events: a specific opportunity with a defined start and end date that can be attended or participated in (i.e. festivals, screenings, orientation or information sessions, etc.)
• Campaigns: an issue based call-to-action or request for in-kind or monetary donations
• Pro-bono Design Project: a design-related volunteer opportunity, such as the re-design of anything from a banner to a new brochure, a website to a promotional video
