Phones donated to this program are refurbished, reprogrammed, and made available to victims of domestic abuse who can use them to call for assistance if help is needed.
There is also Pledge-A-Phone (http://www.pledgeaphone.com). This firm helps support groups that do domestic violence protection, cancer research, drug rehabilitation, suicide prevention, children's medical research, children's support services, after school programs, animal protection groups and environmental groups.
