Spotlight On...Cuba

What better day to spotlight Cuba than today, when the country's Olympic boxing team vies for an unprecedented eight gold medals?

Each week we bring you a roundup of what you can find on our site related to a specific country or region. Here's what I found today by searching for Cuba:

As of this morning, there are five organizations listed on Idealist (one posted in English and four in Spanish) that are based in Cuba. There is one volunteer opportunity for people in Cuba and it's with our sister site, Idealistas.org. I can't seem to find any jobs based in Cuba.

However, if you're located in another country and are interested in working on issues related to Cuba, you can get many more results by typing "Cuba" into the search bar at the top of this page. I tried just now and found 46 organizations, 14 jobs, 8 volunteer opportunities, and an internship. Try for yourself!
