New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) draws its academic character from a deep-rooted connection to the industries and creative forces that drive the economic, political, and cultural life of New York City. Whether you are starting a new career or advancing an existing one, SCPS captures the energy, optimism, and diversity of the city with a faculty of professional experts and curricula that evolve with your needs.

The Center for Global Affairs (CGA), within NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, facilitates change by educating and inspiring our community to become global citizens capable of identifying and implementing solutions to pressing global challenges. Through rigorous graduate and nondegree programs and provocative public events, we prepare global citizens who will be at home—and thus be effective agents of change—in diverse environments around the world.

The George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising provides an opportunity for current and aspiring fundraising professionals to hone their skills in New York City, one of the world’s most vibrant philanthropic communities. Through our graduate program and continuing education courses, students explore the fundamentals of fundraising, the psychology behind giving, legal and ethical issues, and more.
