RE: Welcome!

Hi! I'm Jillian from London, ON and headed to London, UK for graduate school in International Communications and Development. This sounds like a fab event and even though I'll be unable to attend, I'd love to help get the word out for the fair. Let me know what kind of publicity we can do in Southwestern Ontario in the coming month!

Hi!
My name is Nadia. I graduated in Third World Studies/International Development in 1997 and moved to Toronto and have been working in the nonprofit health field for the last 10 years. I'm completely bored now and want to go back to school for a masters. In the last 10 years, I did a stint in east africa for a year, a couple of months in S.Africa, and Pakistan. I really need a change of scenery so if anyone knows of any opportunities as I have been taking the summer to regroup, please send them my way. I'm excited about this upcoming fair as it has come at the right time for me! I would like to connect with those in TO and especially with Miriam as I may need some help in the applying process. Its been years since I remember school and papers/test life! Nice to meet all of you and looking forward to spreading the word in TO. Take care,
nadia

Hi! My name is Azra, I live in Guelph, an hour away from Toronto and I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am connected to the education my whole life, in one way or the other and I love learning. During 60s and 70s My Dad was a Teacher and my family lived on school premises (teachers' apartments) during my elementary school education. One time I worked as a high school Math Teacher and until recently I worked for an agency in Ontario, which services applications for the admission to 26 public Ontario Colleges. My husband works at the University of Guelph. My daughter is attending a Biology program and my son is just starting his Masters in September; all at the same university!
I am delighted that this event is taking place in Toronto, as I strongly believe that higher education is extremely important for success in life. As a Project Manager Professional I would be happy to help in any way I can.
Looking forward to working with other volunteers!
Azra

Hey everyone My name is Severn, Im not a graduate student but I think this will be an awesome event for all envolved to connect with likeminded people and discover new windows of oppertunity. I am currently enrolled in a community service work progam, after wich I may think about graduate studies. I am very excited to learn more about where education is taking people in fields like mine, and to have an awesome event!

Hi everyone! My name is George Mantzios, a 3rd year undergrad at the University of Toronto. I am doing a double major is Psychology and Religion so I can orient attention for the event in the arts and science sector of campus. I am familiar with many poster 'hot spots'. I am thrilled that a fair of this kind is being organized by Idealist. It is a strong initiative that will easily entice a large audience here. Look forward to hearing from you guys again. Take care in the meantime,
George

Hi there. I know I'm a couple of days late posting this but would really love to help out if you're still needing more volunteers. My name is Laura and I'm in the final year of my Master of Divinity at Emmanuel College - Toronto School of Theology/University of Toronto. I'm a big fan of Idealist.org (discovered a couple of years back while living in DC) and would love to be a part of making it more known in Canada. I have good contacts with many of the theological schools in Toronto.

Holla! My name is Linh - second year student at Trent University in Ontario. I am so happy to be able to contribute to the success of the event, either by spreading the words within my school/community or volunteering on spot. I am doing a double major in International Development Studies and International Political Economy so the event seems to fit my passion quite well!
