Our mission is to promote a fair and effective justice system – and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests. AAJ’s members are principally plaintiffs’ attorneys.
Duties: The intern will work primarily within the Political Outreach and Development Department which consists of PAC and , our high dollar membership program. The successful candidate will work with the department to coordinate and execute fundraising meetings / events, maintain rsvp lists, and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: A successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong interest and education background in politics, government affairs, or law. Strong communications skills — written and oral — are needed. The ability to complete assignments on deadline, to utilize research tools, and computer proficiency are also required.
