Today has been a very productive day and for those in Brooklyn, especially Park Slope, The restaurant, Coco Roco, on 5th Ave, has generously agreed to accept any donations, especially in the form of light weight food items, to be delivered and collected at their restaurant till Friday, after which it will be delivered to NJ for immediate delivery to Peru. Catholic churches will be taking up a special collection this weekend for quake victims at every Mass, with the funds forwarded on to the Catholic dioceses of the affected regions in Peru.
