What about nationalism? With 194 sovereign states each fighting for their own self interest, I think us (and our kids) will all be dead within 100 years.

I completely agree with you but this group was started out of idea born by four women who live in America who wanted to work on ism in the US some day we hope to branch out into other countries but right now we must focus on the US in order to be successful. But please feel free to talk about nationalism as well as any other ism not mention. We will in way we can to end nationalism here in America but we do not have the resources to take on the world just yet. I am sorry if you feel as though we left it out but it was simply because our primary focus will be the US and all of the isms associated with that which in many way includes nationalism.

I agree with Kai that nationalism is a vital ism to include.

To me any ism suggests exclusion, superiority, etc.

Anyone who says my religion, country, ethnic group, gender is right or better is standing in the way of progress, and nationalism is in the front of the pack. People who say the my country is the best, or love it or leave are fomenting separation and hatred.
