Thank you all for joining this group! Sorry I have been AWOL for the last month (hard to work when your hard drive dies!), but here I am!

As you can see from the main page of the group, I am looking for feedback on how the website can best serve users needs, particularly in terms of dialogue. I want the site to be a place where people can not only discuss books they have been reading but also engage in global dialogue about important issues in a tolerant, informed way. A global classroom, where there is the sense that each individual has something to learn but also to teach. Cheesy perhaps, but wouldn't that be nice?

So, how do you think this function would best be organized? Blog, discussion forum, scheduled live discussions with authors, professors, etc? Some of each? I would love your feedback!
