Because of the inflexibility of the forum software at Idealist and at Yahoo (where I also have an SE NYC group), I am considering combining both groups into a single discussion group with its own domain and running on SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/) discussion forum software. (I have the blessings of Idealist who say they will not have vastly improved forum software anytime in the near future.

Would you ***actively*** participate in this new forum?
