“I think this is a great initiative to help effect 'change'. Being from the Caribbean i think this network gives me the opportunity to connect with people and organizations who want to see a better world for ALL people. I want to get involved because i think change is possible if we all do 'what we can.”

“I think it's an awesome thing what you guys are doing. I think if we all did our part and began to care more about our "world" and humanity things would be different.
I want to get involved more in my community to help those who need it. I want to help Improve things and try to make this world a better place for all.”

“I truly feel that when you align your outer purpose with your inner purpose--the universe will rise up and meet you. Allowing yourself to be truly engaged with what brings you joy, passion and a sense of greater purpose, can only serve to create that inner space needed for authentic external and internal evolution.”

“I believe the basic tenets of the initiative are correct and that the project could have a very positive impact. The emphasis on 'libraries' and 'stores' demonstrates an awareness that information and resources are two primary tools for the empowerment of the disadvantaged and marginalized. I think the idea of setting up local 'community points' might be misguided if it does not promise to focus on the grass roots and to understand that individual chapters might be serving communities with different needs. The basic premise of Idealist is very strong, but its more ambitious, local initiatives ought to be vetted for efficiency.”
