The Local Liberian Drilling team has purchased property and we at Lifewater Canada are helping them build their own compound. It will occur in stages over the next 5 years. We have drilled the well and this January we will be laying the septic system with hopes of starting the actual building construction in November 2008. The construction will include a multi roomed guest house/office compound, a warehouse where they will be able to purchase & store drilling supplies in bulk amounts, thus saving both funds and time better spent drilling wells, constructing latrines and conducting hygiene training. There will also be a garage for storing and repairing vehicles and equipment, a store to sell pump parts etc and a soccer field to bless the nearby community.

We are looking for laborers to help with the construction process (carpenters, electricians) who are willing to share their knowledge as they work alongside the local Liberian people. We are also looking for funding for this project or people who might be interested in fundraising to help cover the costs of this large undertaking. See www.lifewater.ca for donation directions.
