Description:

Did you know...

... Bottled water is not safer than tap water? In fact, the federal government requires far more rigorous and frequent safety testing and monitoring of municipal drinking water.

... Bottled water is thousands of times more expensive than tap water? Compare $0.002 per gallon for most tap water to a range of $0.89 to $8.26 per gallon for bottled waters.

... Bottled water creates mountains of needless garbage and contributes to other environmental problems?

Join our campaign to take back the tap by pledging to reduce or eliminate your use of bottled water!

How people can help:

By joining with us in limiting bottled water consumption and getting restaurants to sign the Take Back the Tap campaign pledge to serve tap water.

We are now forming activist teams to Take Back the Tap and support NYC's tremendously clean water and limit the consumption of bottled water in the five boroughs and the NYC region.
