The Appropriate Technology Fund aims to provide environmentally-friendly technology to allow small-scale rural farmers to add value to their crops. The value of the equipment is paid back at an affordable rate by the farmers, and can then be used to benefit another family.

Currently we need to provide new distillation tanks for organic sugar cane farmers. The new tanks will be of quality stainless steel (to comply with organic regulations) and in addition will be safer, more efficient (less fuel needed), produce better quality and be more cost effective in the long term.
