Description:
A Wider Circle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and adults to break the cycles of poverty and poor health. Our comprehensive wellness programming helps individuals gain greater control of their well-being, while the delivery of furniture, home goods and more helps individuals and families meet their basic needs.
Our School Community Program provides programs and services for students, parents, faculty and staff at low-income schools. We currently focus our attention on one school in Southeast DC for comprehensive services that include mentoring individual students during the school day, and after-care workshops.
