Description:
WTTW/WFMT Website Internship
Are you a college student or recent graduate looking for an internship in the interactive world?
Department:
Website Department
General Information:
The Web Department offers internships year-round on a rolling basis. Length of internship and hours per week are negotiable, though we prefer interns who can work the majority of an 8-hour workday on a combination of weekdays (M/W/F, T/Th, or M-F).
Interns must stay for the length of a semester or summer.
This is an unpaid internship. We will work with schools for student interns receiving credit, but receiving credit and/or being a student are not required.
Interns are assigned an internship coordinator who will structure the internship according to the needs of both the stations and the intern.
Qualifications:
Students or recent graduates of any major are encouraged. The ideal candidates are familiar with different and constantly evolving technologies, and have some experience and/or education related to web and/or IT technologies. Must be able to work independently and persistently on assigned projects. Must have excellent organization and communications skills.
General Description:
The Web Intern will assist website and marketing staff with a number of projects to support the organization’s websites including:
* Coordination and uploading of new text, image and media content to the WTTW and WFMT websites
* Assist in conducting research
* Assist in special department projects as needed
Application instructions:
