Global Conscience offers field trainings to interested persons all round the year. Our internships last from three to six months unless otherwise arranged. Interns work in the field to collect baseline data on human rights situations. Please visit www.gcicameroon.org/intern to read about field placements in Global Conscience.
Interns also work in the office to receive complaints of human rights violations, document and research on them (i.e. interpret them in the context of national and international laws), write petitions and facilitate trainings for communities.
Global Conscience welcomes any one wishing to do field work in peace building, the rule of law, governance, democracy, human rights promotion and protection, social transformation, conflict management, prevention and resolution.

Interns do not require any particular skills; just an interest in serving humanity and assisting victims of rights violations. Currently we are looking for interns to work with rural communities to create Centres for Arbitration and Mediation (CAMs). Visit www.gcicameroon.org to read more about the CAMs. We also need interns to assist indigent untried prisoners to secure bail and medical attention.
