Description:
A dynamic, up-and-coming cultural organization seeks an energetic, responsible college student or recent graduate to help program and publicize our events, which bring the brightest thinkers and doers from across the country to venues around Los Angeles. The assistant would work directly with our Program Director and Field Producer to bring in new audiences, boost our web presence, and hype our work to the press, among other duties. We have a small and young staff working in a fun collaborative environment in our 17th-floor Koreatown offices and in event locations all over the city.

Zócalo Public Square is a non-profit organization that builds intellectual community and broadens access to civic discourse by presenting smart ideas in an open, welcoming, non-partisan, multi-ethnic space.
Zócalo launched in Los Angeles in 2003. Since then the “public square” has traveled as far as Shanghai.
