Job Description:
The Adoption Clubhouse is an educational website which provides adoptive children between the ages of 13-18, their siblings and their parents a comfortable, interactive peer online adoption community. We are looking for an intern who can devote 10 hours per week to the site. Using strong writing and research skills the intern will develop content and sponsorship opportunities for the website. The intern will accomplish this by:
a. Creating new age-appropriate content for immediate use
b. Creating archive of articles/ideas for future use
c. Identify and implement new sources of funding
d. Expand site recognition and traffic through marketing campaign especially through the use of social media
Internships are unpaid, however, course credit is available.
Qualifications:
Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and be skilled at internet research. Site is in Drupal, and is easy to edit, however extra technical skills like Dreamweaver or Photoshop a plus. Must be interested in communicating with youths from ages 14-17.
