ServeNext offers internships throughout the year. Interns work full or part-time. Full-time interns work 30-40 hours/week, while part-time interns must commit at least 15-25 hours/week for a minimum of 6 weeks. Regular office hours are 9:00am-7:00pm, but interns may tailor their hours to fit school and work schedules with some hours worked from home. All who are interested are encouraged to apply immediately considering our limited number of positions.

Interns are an essential part of ServeNext operations. Internships offer great hands-on experience and exciting, but challenging work. ServeNext’s activities are at the crossroads of field and online organizing, public policy, advocacy, social justice, social media, and civic engagement.

Interns are involved in a wide variety of activities and will work in one or more of the following areas:

1. Social media and blogging
2. Writing and research
3. Fundraising
4. Event organizing
5. Partnership development
6. Communications

All interns will have some administrative responsibilities.

We are happy to work with professors and universities so interns can receive academic credit when possible.
