Description:
Internship consists of:
·Coordinating and staffing outreach activities and events
·Tabling and petition signature gathering for NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri at events and in various communities
·Educating others about threats to reproductive rights in Missouri with special emphasis on emergency contraception (EC) access
·Working with the organizing staff to develop a plan to reach out to underrepresented communities and communities with high rates of teenage pregnancy to engage individuals in the pro-choice movement in Missouri
·10-15 hours weekly in and out of the NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri office
·Other responsibilities as they arise
Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to protecting reproductive rights and enthusiasm for working in diverse communities. Applicants should be prepared to work closely with other interns and staff on a regular basis.
This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be arranged with your college or university.
