Description:
NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri, the state's largest grassroots pro-choice organization, has been working to protect choice for the last 40 years.
Our mission is to develop and sustain a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion.
As the political arm of the pro-choice movement, NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri is dedicated to electing more pro-choice legislators to the state house and senate.
Responsibilities:
•Keep affiliate website current with latest choice-related news and affiliate activities
•Update “Current Legislation” section of website when General Assembly is in session
•Track website visitor statistics and communicate effective strategies to staff
•Monitor news services and blogs for latest choice-related news
•Drive traffic to affiliate website using social-networking tools, such as Facebook and Twitter
•15-20 hours in and out of the NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri office
•Other related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
•Commitment to reproductive freedom and women’s right to choose
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
•Working knowledge of HTML; Dreamweaver experience preferred
