SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY
Medicine/Internal Medicine
Weill Cornell Medical College seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, under direction, to provide administrative support in the Division of Internal Medicine to the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator for a newly funded Comprehensive Center of Excellence in Disparities Research and Community Engagement (CEDREC), a multi-million dollar consortium. Individual is responsible for addressing situations of a confidential and/or sensitive nature which include coordinating meetings with high level members from leading medical institutions, answering inquires; preparing correspondence; managing complex calendars and schedules; assisting in grant preparation and planning and coordinating of non-competitive and competitive renewal applications to the NIH; coordinating travel and hotel arrangements for faculty members and Board members; submitting and tracking travel/business expense reimbursements; assisting in all aspects of manuscript preparation; and performing other job related duties as required.
Additional Qualifications:
Requirements: Must have three to four years administrative experience; Bachelor's degree preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; and excellent organization and communication skills. High volume of confidential materials requires ability to exercise judgment and discretion.
