Description:
Interfaith Works is looking for an enthusiastic leader with a passion for serving others to join our Homeless Services Management team. We are looking for a PROGRAM MANAGER to supervise an eight-bed homeless program for women with mental illness. This person is the liaison to Montgomery County for any clinical issues at this sight. Experience with supervision as well as issues related to mental illness and co-occurring disorders is essential and knowledge of Montgomery County, MD resources is ideal.
Interfaith Works, formerly Community Ministry of Montgomery County, is a non-sectarian interfaith coalition working together to meet the needs of the poor in Montgomery County, Maryland through direct services, education and advocacy.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising one clinical case manager and up to ten residential coordinators (line-staff).
Conducting program meetings, staff trainings, consultation to staff and providers in the community.
Work closely with the Case Manager, providing direct service to clients, when needed and assist with problem solving, treatment planning and moderation of client complaints.
Serves as back-up for Case Manager during vacations and absences.
Responsible for program compliance with mandatory reporting laws, incident reporting, ethical guidelines, and other compliance items as required.
Monitors all case records, ensuring compliance with contract requirements
Commits to the provision of culturally competent services.
Serves as a member of the management team attending monthly/quarterly meetings and participates in program development.
Other related tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director of Homeless Services.
Additional Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Post-graduate license preferred
