Description:
Grants Development Associate will assist Grants Department with preparing proposals, reports and other documents. Responsibilities will include: identifying, reviewing and summarizing grant opportunities; helping edit and draft grant reports and other written documents; collecting data and other information for surveys and reports; maintaining departmental files and agency-wide grants database; updating and maintaining Agency documents; internet research, and some writing.
Additional duties include:
*Performing administrative support functions, which include, but are not limited to, scanning documents, faxing, mailing, filing, etc.
*Preparing and tracking purchase orders, inventory controls, check requests, time and attendance records and informational reports as needed.
*Typing confidential documents, including correspondence, memorandums, budgets, narrative proposals and other documents.
*Respond to calls from external departments for boilerplate information and documents such as agency funding history and audit reports.

Additional Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and background in writing. Two to three years relevant experience (preferably in nonprofit related environment) required. Excellent editing and computer skills, with working knowledge of Powerpoint, Word and Excel. Must be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively with team.
