Description:
Directs and supervises all activities of the Rape Crisis Center (RCC) which includes:
? Program Development and Oversight- Develops and oversees the implementation of all RCC programs, considering the needs of community and YWCA priorities. Oversight of the RCC’s direct services to individuals affected by sexual assault, as well as community education and outreach to underserved populations. Ensures that all RCC services are offered according to YWCA goals and grant requirements, including delivering community education programs, providing support to survivors by serving on the hotline, accompanying survivors for medical and legal services and providing one-to-one services and support groups for survivors and significant others. Also serves as the leader of the community-wide Sexual Assault Free Environment (SAFE) Coalition, the RCC’s sexual assault prevention initiative.
? Direct Leadership – recruits, hires, supervises and develops staff, contractors and volunteers by activities such as developing workplans and performance standards, conducting performance appraisals, facilitating staff meetings, coaching, and overseeing all staff and volunteer training.
? Administration – Responsible for all programmatic reports to the CEO, the YWCA board of directors and funders. Works closely with the Finance Director in preparing the departmental budget and monitoring expenses, and with the Grant Manager in producing grant applications to funders. Updates training manuals. Ensures referral lists, program records and client files are complete and accurate, and that confidentiality is maintained. Ensures that hotline services are provided promptly and accurately, and that all services are coordinated county-wide. Works closely with the YWCA Public Relations staff in preparing public relations materials, brochures, and news releases.
Additional Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
? 5+ years experience in crisis intervention or related field
? Licensed Professional with Masters degree in counseling, Psychology or Social Work
? 2-5 years experience with one-on-one counseling
? 5+ years administrative and supervisory experience required.
? Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
