Since its founding in 1979, the New York League for Early Learning (NYL) has provided services and programs for children from birth to age five and their families. To strengthen its work for children with developmental disabilities and learning delays, NYL became a member of the YAI Network in 1992. Today, NYL's highly acclaimed, progressive education and cutting-edge therapies build brighter futures for thousands of children. New York League for Early Learning has occupational therapist positions available in preschools and early intervention homebased programs in Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens.

Responsibilities:
* Provide Occupational Therapy to assigned children
* Evaluate and monitor progress of assigned children in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, perceptual and self help development
* Maintain proper documentation of evaluation, treatment session and progress of children
* Prepare Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and update as necessary
* Provide consultation regarding positioning, fine motor, sensory development and feeding
* Assist in orthotics, podiatry and adaptive clinics when necessary
* Maintain open communication with parents and families

Current openings include (but not limited to):
- Fee-for-Service home-based early intervention services throughout New York City
- Fee-for-Service feeding evaluators throughout New York City
