Description:
These positions are based in Albany County. All applicants must either live in Albany County or be very familiar and comfortable traveling throughout the area.
The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) is dedicated to providing immediate, effective and comprehensive employment services to men and women with recent criminal convictions. CEO will be establishing a pilot project to expand in upstate New York. CEO is seeking to fill the following positions:
1. An Employment Specialist who will guide clients through a job search process concurrent with their employment on CEO’s supervised transitional work sites.
2. Two (2) Work Site Supervisors to oversee a work crew of 5-10 participants; assigning crew members to specific job duties and setting reasonable production goals for their completion.
3. A Life Skills Educator who will ensure that clients have the required documents to work in the United States as well as meet the eligibility requirements to enroll in CEO. He or she will also lead all qualified participants through group workshops that help prepare formerly incarcerated individuals for permanent employment in the labor force.
