Description:

Save the Children, the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in the US and around the world, seeks a Receptionist to be responsible for providing day-to-day support for all departments in the Washington, DC office. Areas of responsibility include: answering phones, directing telephone inquiries, greeting visitors, assisting with meeting rooms bookings, mailing and deliveries, faxing, mail, data entry and other related administrative tasks as requested.

This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years of Receptionist experience within an office setting and demonstrated success providing support within a large office environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills a must.

The ideal candidate will have a College degree (preferred), proven computer skills, including Excellent Microsoft Office Excel (data entry), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Scheduler. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills, including exceptional customer focus and the ability to work as a team member. Must be able to independently schedule and prioritize multiple tasks according to importance, with strong attention to detail.
