Description:

The EpicCare Trainer is responsible for developing ongoing training programs for clinical staff and patients (MyChartMyHealth), delivering training in both a classroom and clinical environment, development and implementation of optimization program for provider and nursing personnel, participation in other EHR related projects. The ideal candidate must also be able to operate as a bridge between the users and the Epic eLearning group.

Additional Qualifications:

EXPERIENCES AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Epic/EpicCare software and is able to demonstrate an ability to work with each product individually and understand the connectivity between them
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others and work in highly fluid environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills appropriate for all levels of the organization from executives to staff.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under deadline constraints.
• Demonstrates a team attitude and the ability to work in a rapidly changing and demanding environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Community Health Center/non-profit environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in teaching / training, preferentially in technical/IT field
• Experience working in ambulatory clinical settings a plus, but not required.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
• Must be detail-oriented, able to work with highly confidential information independently.
