Compensation: Commensurate with experience, monthly stipend for living expenses. Compensation package of $15,000 to $18,000 per annum.
Position Description:
(Please note: FIMRC is re-posting this position after conducting a recent round of recruitment that did not lead to the hiring of an FOM for our site in El Salvador)
The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) is seeking a Field Operations Manager for one open position at our site in El Salvador. Our Field Operations Managers coordinate all in-country FIMRC logistics, and work closely with clinic staff, community members, and volunteers to maximize the impact of the clinics in the communities we serve. The Field Operations Managers are essential to carrying out our mission of providing access to medical care and education to underprivileged and medically underserved children around the world. Duties vary widely and change constantly, but in general include the following:
• Coordinate the Global Health Volunteer Program for all volunteers traveling to our project sites.
• Work with project staff to develop unique itineraries for our international volunteers based on skill level, time in country, and interests.
• Organize, manage, and supervise all volunteer activities while in country.
• Assist with daily operations of the clinic.
• Prepare a detailed monthly budget.
• Prepare and present weekly health education lessons to a variety of local groups.
• Prepare a monthly report of ongoing activities within the clinic.
• Maintain organization of current medical charting system and clinic data.
• Assist in the development of organizational policies and procedures for the clinic.
• Develop and execute community outreach programs.
• Represent FIMRC to the local ministry of health, community groups and other institutions.
• Manage volunteer donations.
Ideal candidate:

• Spanish proficiency
• International experience in
development (at least 1 year in the field)

• Experience with project design
and development

Additional Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills are
imperative including written and spoken English. Cultural competency
