Description:
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Associate Director of Housing Operations and Programs (HOPs) in the areas of compliance, intake and government grants as well as other special projects. The selected individual will be responsible for assisting with applications for government funding, synthesizing information, and ensuring communication between individuals within HOPs and between HOPs other Common Ground Departments.
Duties:
-Support Government Grants Manager with funding applications, contract renewals and reports submitted to various government agencies.
-Assist Government Grants Manager and HOPs
-Building and Program Directors to ensure funding is being spent within the guidelines as set forth by contracts.
-Produce summary management reports from various databases and other tracking mechanisms maintained by Common Ground's Central Intake Unit to ensure the unit is meeting targeted occupancy goals and identify process challenges.
-Assist Associate Director with developing and formatting reports and presentation materials.
-Maintain reports on staffing allocations for all budgets maintained by HOPs and serve as the
-Department's liaison on staff allocations with Human Resources and Finance to ensure contracts are reconciled with contract provisions.
-Review all proposed vendor contracts and maintain signed copies to ensure the programs are getting comparable rates and identify service where the Department might benefit from multi-site agreements.
-Summarize and maintain copies of all active government contracts to facilitate compliance with funders' requirements and Common Ground's commitments.
-Assist Compliance Manager with tasks as needed.
Qualifications
-Bachelors or equivalent experience.
-Detail oriented; Superior analytical and writing skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to handle multiple high priority tasks simultaneously.
-Experience in the fields of contracts or intake preferred, but not required.
-Incumbent must have strong computer skills (in particular Excel & PowerPoint), and demonstrate ability to present polished presentation materials and reports.
