Description:

Director is necessary to maintain cohesiveness between all staff including partner service agency. Director must support mission by maintaining the highest quality of housing, outreach to agencies when issues arise that possess an image of concern about bldg and community at large. Director must be creative in ways to enhance quality of the residential building and the organization at large. Strong and positive relationship with Assistant Director, Assistant Director, Facilities and social service partner director is essential to streamline ideas and procedures and achieve outcomes. Director must "know their audience." This leader must deal in a positive, sensitive and knowledgeable manner w/tenants. They must also work closely w/vendors, agencies and be discerning in their approach to each co, agency, etc. He/she represents CG with external stakeholders and should be involved in the community-Community Board, DA's office, and local precinct. Must also have a knowledgeable and flexible relationship w/ city, state and local agencies and funders.

Duties:
-Decision making re: Building, Programmatic, Staff issues, Tenant Issues
-Communicating and planning with service partner (CUCS)
-Supervision of direct reports
-Working with outside agencies regarding audits, etc.
-Representing CG to outside agencies
-Working with PHOM on agency-wide issues
- Coordinating/overseeing resolution of legal issues
-Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
-At least 5 yrs experience in a managerial capacity. Experience in property management and/or social services is a plus.

-Superior conflict resolution skills, oral communication and writing skills, and supervision. Contract negotiation and budgeting.

-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

-Advanced Word, Excel, ability to use internal property management systems

- Experience working with homeless/formerly homeless populations preferred
