Description:
JVS is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial professional to lead our business development efforts with employers. JVS works closely with employers to develop job opportunities, customized hiring and training partnerships, and strategies for engaging employers in JVS programs. JVS’s innovative employer engagement strategy connects employers with JVS clients and programs to increase placement outcomes for our job seeking clients. Through extensive industry and market research and analysis, the Director of Business Development creates and implements agency-wide strategies for targeting employer partners within specific industry sectors and action plans for coordinated employer cultivation and account management performed by JVS staff. This position leads JVS’s labor market analysis and research and develops new opportunities for sector programs and partnerships, as well as customized training and other fee based services. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of JVS and works as part of the JVS leadership team, as well as working closely with staff throughout the organization.
Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) helps people, particularly those with barriers to employment, acquire the skills and resources to find and keep meaningful employment and progress toward the goal of self-sufficiency.
