Since its founding in 1979, the New York League for Early Learning (NYL) has provided services and programs for children from birth to age five and their families. To strengthen its work for children with developmental disabilities and learning delays, NYL became a member of the YAI Network in 1992. New York League for Early Learning, part of the YAI Network, has a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathology position (one day a week - the day is flexible) in a preschool working with children with special needs in Midtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities:
* Provide speech/language and/or feeding or oromotor to assigned children
* Evaluate speech/language skills of children and provide referrals
* Prepare Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Monitor and screen of hearing status and referrals for audiological services as needed
* To maintain open communication with parents and families

Hours:
* One day a week (the day is flexible)

* Masters Degree in Speech Pathology
