http://www.repoa.or.tz/tgn

The following updates have been made to the TGN database:

2003/04 Report from the Controller and Auditor General's (CAG)

The 2003/04 CAG report for Central and Local Government was presented to Parliament in February 2006 and we have uploaded the key data onto the TGN database.

To see the latest audit data, go to http://www.repoa.or.tz/tgn/tgn.php and choose whether you would like to see the audit data for local government authorities, national level ministries, departments or agencies, or regions. Easy step-by-step instructions will guide you through the process and help you to access the data you are interested in.

New Features
We have also added the following features to the database:

You can now download the full audit report for individual Local Government Authorities or Ministries. This new feature is available for all the 2003/04 audit reports.

You can download the report by clicking on the Auditor’s Opinion (Clean, Qualified or Adverse) given to the District or Ministry that you are interested in.

You can see the breakdown of the questioned expenditure by clicking on the stated percentage in the table for "Questioned Expenditure as % of Discretionary Expenditure". This will show you the types of questioned expenditure, as well as details of the budget for that financial year.

The Tanzania Governance Noticeboard is a USAID supported activity, implemented by REPOA, that seeks to strengthen the demand side of accountability in Tanzania through making information more accessible and in a format that is more understandable and useful for citizens in Tanzania.
